Language laboratory

We lay great emphasis on language teaching in our institution. All of our students study Hebrew and English in a large amount of class hours. This effort is also aided by a modern language laboratory which we use not only with teaching foreign languages but also with teaching Bible and Talmudic studies and ceremonies.

The Language Laboratory has space for 14 students at the stations of computer-controlled languagre lab equipment. Professor and students connect to the system with headsets combined with microphones. They can speak with each other through this and can listen to teaching material coming from different sources. It is also possible to create student groups or pairs. Each group can be studying different material. We also use the lab to teach subjects other than language.
